Walked in from the highway to the Colorado Trail Foundation trail crew base camp at Lujan Pass.
Met lots of good people.
Ate home-made pizza and brownies for dinner.

Matthew was given the trail name “Card Sharp” after a raucous Uno game with trail crew members that ran late into the night.

Day 2: Lujan Pass to Tank Seven ridge

Left camp with a heavy heart and an even heavier stomach (Thanks Bill and Stephanie!).
Sat in the wildflowers at Razor Creek.
Passed uncomfortably close to a huge bull.
Camped on a nice ridge above Tank Seven Creek.
Day 3: Tank Seven ridge to Marshall Pass

Easy hike from camp to Marshall Pass.
Appreciated the new Windy Peak re-route.
Met more parent/kid combos near Marshall Pass. Very cool.
Saw bighorn lambs.
Took advantage of trail magic at Marshall Pass.
